Dating to the late 20th century, its organic, globular form and small, narrow neck were originally designed as a storage vessel for water or grain. 

This vintage pot is defined by its rich, deep black, burnished finish, a metallic luster achieved through meticulous hand-polishing before a low-fire process. Resting on a rustic woven rattan base, this vessel, measuring 15 inches wide and 16 inches high, serves as a powerful sculptural accent or a unique tabletop planter, bringing the sophisticated shadow and soul of Oaxacan tradition into your modern interior.
